I am a registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers (OCSWSSW). I have been counselling for over 7 years and have a private practice in the west end of Toronto. After graduating from York University where I earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work, I completed training in various therapeutic models including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) for Anxiety and Depression, Mindfulness, Addictions Counselling and Emotion-Focused Therapy for Couples. I also have over 15 years experience in supportive counselling, helping people change and reach their goals.
In my practice, I work with adults and teens seeking help to overcome stress, anxiety, panic attacks, depression and relationship problems. I use a variety of evidence-based strategies and techniques that will help you to feel better, improve your communication skills, dial down negative self-talk and make meaningful, long-lasting changes in your life within a short period of time.
Raised in Toronto, I currently live with my husband, daughters and an easily excitable double doodle named Maisy.
