As a registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience, I offer individual counselling services to adults and teens. I specialize in anxiety, depression, relationship problems, stress management and life transitions. I am currently accepting new clients.
Through our work together, I will help you develop new ways of coping with the difficulties you are facing. I will help you explore and understand some of the underlying core issues fueling your symptoms and influencing how you interpret the world around you.
After graduating from York University where I earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work, I completed training in various therapeutic models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for Anxiety and Depression, Interpersonal Training for Depression, Mindfulness based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Addictions Counselling, Motivational Interviewing, and Emotion-Focused Therapy.
In my practice, I use a variety of evidence-based strategies and techniques that will help increase your motivation, improve communication skills, dial down your anxiety and help you to make meaningful, long-lasting changes in your life.
Raised in Toronto, I currently live with my husband, daughters and an easily excitable double doodle named Maisy.
